Burning Every Bridge that We Cross....

A beautiful place to get lost.....(even though we found our way around pretty damn well.)

San Francisco is a dope ass city. Chill, but big, bakeries and cafes galore. I think we all (I know I did) started to envision what our lives could be if this place was home..I would maybe go to culinary school, work in a kitchen, marry a baker or butcher or something and ride my bike around and.....yeah, okay, I'll stop that now. The weather was cool and we unpacked coats and sweaters, a welcome salty breeze in the trip. Mainly just ate out and chilled, so will share some of the photo's with you that capture but a tiny piece of the pie that is San Fran:

Road Warriors at Beretta, delicious!

Big Wheels Keep on Turning....

Los Angeles. I wasn't even sure if I would be able to create a posting for it to tell you the truth. We got lost almost every day, almost every time we left for anything, the driving is soul sucking (for me at least). When it takes longer to get anywhere then the time you actually spend there, it is trying on the mind and body. Going out was beyond a mission for us and people drive stupid here. But there was also moments of family, moments of cool saltwater waves, driving the coast with the windows down, playing with pets, reconnecting with old friends, and enjoying an industrial goth girl band complete with belly dancer and baby doll props. There was also bacon chocolate crunch bar and a double dose of David Lynch (via this show and also a Lynch star sighting), how apropo.
Lovely views.
I wish we had gotten their name (the band). Redwood bar downtown, an experience, a welcome one.
Beckitt, Ronin, and Rosebud in the kitchen.
Family time. My beautiful nieces Sienna and Sophia, my beautiful sister Tara.....love you!
This saved my life.
Best cure for a city meltdown. NATURE provides.
Eat at Animal. Best dinner out I've had in this town.

Also, on our way into LA we went to Pioneer Town in Joshua Tree. It's an old movie set town that got built in the 40's. Now people like Grandpa Angel live there and people like us dress "prairie-ish" and take pictures of ourselves.

Hello Cowgirls In The Sand.....

We went to New Mexico. We went to White Sands. It is like a snow filled dune....pure white. But it's sand. And it's like 100 degrees. I was in heaven. Then we also went to this old old bar called the Double Eagle. It's haunted. We drank margaritas. Cool. Road Warriors in some serious South West. On our way out of New Mexico we wanted to stop at a last really authentic Mexican eatery...and we did. Delicious, even though we felt really lame for not being able to speak a lick of Spanish. The decor was great, the Horchata was better. We are currently regrouping in Phoenix, AZ. Here is our New Mexico trip in photos. White Sand and The Double Eagle:
